To give our clients peace of mind, we are offering a refund or transfer of booking if you are affected by Covid-19 for the coming season

Temporary Addendum to Booking Conditions for Covid-19

This addendum to our Standard Terms and Conditions of Booking applies to bookings made during the period of uncertainty, due to the Covid-19 crisis. If these conditions apply to you, this will be noted in the “Notes” section of your booking confirmation.

Please note that if you have booked a package holiday with us, which falls under the Package Travel Regulations 2018 (PTR) then you will be protected in all circumstances against your holiday being unable to proceed, regardless of this addendum. A package holiday is created when more than one travel element is booked at the same time with us – for example, your accommodation and your ski pass. Please see our main booking conditions for full details of the protection provided by the PTR’s. We will advise you if your holiday is a package holiday when you book.

Temporary Addendum for non-PTR Bookings

In light of the unpredictable and fast changing position of travel advice regarding Covid-19, Time of Your Life Travel Ltd (trading as Ski Amis) are temporarily offering a guarantee to refund or defer your holiday in the event you are unable to travel for the reasons given below. This guarantee applies to bookings made during this period of uncertainty in order to give our clients peace of mind when booking their holidays.

A full refund or offer to defer your holiday to the following season will be provided to clients under the following conditions:

  • The FCO advise against all but essential travel to France, including if there is a quarantine in place relating to travel to/from France on arrival in France or return to the UK. This advice must be in place at the date of your departure.
  • Local restrictions in France which mean that we are unable to provide you with your accommodation (catered or self-catered) on the date of your departure

We reserve the right to determine whether either of the above scenarios has occurred which entitle you to a refund. It is expected that if you have a holiday booked with members of your party travelling to France from multiple countries that those who can travel still do so. For example, if a country advises against all but essential travel to France but only one member of your group is travelling from that country, it is expected that all other members of your group still travel and a refund would only be offered for that person.

It is expected that you make your travel arrangements in line with the regulations in place in your departing country as we do not offer flights as part of our holidays and these are booked entirely independently to your holiday with us. We cannot offer any refund or involvement in the arrangements for your flight booking or other travel arrangements unless these have been booked directly with us
We reserve the right to request that you first attempt to claim through your insurance however, if this claim is refused then we will issue this refund accordingly. We will request you provide us a confirmation from your insurance company detailing their reasons for rejecting your claim.

We do not accept liability for the cost of elements of your holiday that are not booked through us or with suppliers where we are acting as an agent (for example transfers, ski schools, equipment rental or lift passes). Where we are acting as an agent, we will provide a refund where the costs have been recovered successfully from the individual supplier and according to the individual supplier’s terms and conditions.
