Airport Transfers

Airport Transfer Service

We offer a competitive transfer service using our fleet of minibuses which are all comfortable and fully equipped for mountain driving.  Our service is available to anyone travelling to the resorts we cover - not just to guests in our own accommodation.  We are a fully licenced transport operator (licence no 2013/82/0002597) with all the correct licences for operating in France and Switzerland - beware of unlicensed operators as the airports and local police are clamping down very strongly and you may find yourself being prevented from making your journey or uninsured in the case of an accident!!


The Service

The shared service operates on Saturdays only from Grenoble, Geneva and Chambery to the Three Valleys, La Plagne Montalbert, La Plagne Montchavin and Peisey-Vallandry and we would recommend you fly to one of these airports as they are the best served in the area for both the flights and the transfer service.  We can also offer transfers from Lyon, to other resorts and on other transfer days, but only on a dedicated vehicle basis.  We can provide a transfer service on any day of the week on a private transfer basis.

Our transfer service is personal to us - our drivers have 'weekday' jobs with us too and know our company and our chalets.  They could be your chalet host, the office staff, our resort managers or even one of our directors - whoever collects you will be the start of the personal service we provide.  All our staff providing our transfer service have been fully trained in their vehicles including winter driving and they all hold a French professional driving licence to provide passenger transport in a professional capacity.

In the event of flight delays, we'll do our utmost to make sure you are able to get from the airport to start your holiday by rescheduling for the delays as much as possible - we have 15 minibuses in the area every Saturday so can normally (although not always) reschedule without additional cost to you, unlike many of our competitors who will not wait or will charge you waiting time or cancel your transfer!  We'll help carry your luggage to the bus and the chalet and we'll drop you at the doorstep. Our minibuses are new or almost new and all have plenty of luggage space as well as snow tyres and snow chains to deal with poor weather situations in the mountain - and our drivers are fully trained to use them.

For self catered guests who have booked accommodation with us, we will take you to your key collection point first, wait for you to deal with the administration of your arrival and then take you on to your apartment (subject to arrival during the normal key collection hours).


Shared Transfer Prices (valid from 1st May 2017)


Shared Transfer Service from Geneva, Grenoble or Chambery Airports - flights landing/departing approximately one hour apart will be scheduled together so waiting time is normally limited to a maximum of one hour *

to the following destinations on Saturdays:
  • Three Valleys - All Resorts
  • Peisey-Vallandry
  • La Plagne Montchavin
  • La Plagne Montalbert
Prices apply to any flight within our "reasonable hours" policy which is landing before 18h00 on arrival day and taking off after 10h00 on departure day.  Flights outside of these hours can be served on the dedicated service only and with a 30% surcharge.  The service will use the quickest route to the destination including the toll motorway sections where appropriate.

300 return for 1, 2 or 3 people (fixed minimum price)
90 per person return for 4 people or more

Please note this is a guaranteed but SHARED service - if you are a smaller group and pay the higher price the service is still shared with other guests but guaranteed to operate within our service levels even if there are no other guests booking that transfer.  No refunds are made in the event you DO share with other guests.  If you would like a dedicated vehicle for your group, please see the pricing below.  

* Flights scheduled to land or depart within approximately an hour of each other will be travelling together meaning you will normally have a maximum of one hour waiting time.  In the event of flight delays, we guarantee to wait for one hour after the scheduled landing time - potentially this means in a worst case scenario the waiting time could be extended to two hours in the event of delay to one of the flights.

Shared Transfer Service from Geneva Airport - flexible service for small groups of 1-3 people - book a flight landing before 13h00 on your arrival day and departing after 15h00 on your departure day - we will get you to and from the resort on the Saturday but we can't guarantee how long you will need to wait

to the following destinations on Saturdays:

  • Three Valleys - La Tania and Les Menuires
Prices apply to any flight within our "reasonable hours" policy which is landing between 13h00 and 18h00 on arrival day and taking off after 15h00 on departure day.  Flights outside of these hours can be served on the normal shared or dedicated service only and according to the conditions of those services.  The service will use the quickest route to the destination including the toll motorway sections where appropriate.

90 per person return for 1, 2 or 3 people

Please note - this service operates without a service level guarantee as the lower price is offered to optimise the use of the vehicles and fill available spaces.  As we do not know the schedule of the minibuses until a few days in advance, you will be informed of your transfer time the day before travel.  We guarantee to transport you to and from the resort on the day booked, however there are no guarantees in terms of the travel time.  For a guaranteed service within an hour of your flight time, the minimum price above must be paid.

Dedicated/Private Transfer Service and Prices

The dedicated service applies to:
  • Transfers from Lyon Airport
  • Transfers on days other than Saturday
  • Destinations other than those available on the shared service
  • Flight times outside of our sociable hours policy
  • Guests not wishing to share their vehicle with others
A dedicated service means you will have exclusive use of the 8 seater minibus for the duration of your journey and you will not be scheduled to travel with passengers other than those in your own group. The price is therefore per minibus and covers from 1 to 8 passengers.

The small print ....

Although our service is shared, our policy is not to keep our guests waiting unneccessarily at the airport nor to take them on a guided tour of all the other resorts before they reach their own accommodation!  The service operates with minibuses and you will be sharing the minibus with other guests going to the same resort or general area - we will never combine guests from flights scheduled more than two hours apart as a maximum, but this is normally about an hour - other than those booking our cheaper flexible service.

The higher prices charged for bookings of less than 4 people is based on our risk to deliver the service agreement - you are likely to still share your transfer with other guests but in the event that we do not have other guests fitting within the time/destination requirements, then we will still provide you with the service at the time you have booked (which then results in a loss to us in operating the service).  The higher price covers this risk and there are no refunds if you end up sharing with a larger group.  For those who do not wish to pay the higher price to secure their transfer in advance, you can book our "flexible service" if you are travelling to Geneva - or wait until the last minute for other routes to see what spaces we have available, if any.  However, on the flexible and last minute services you must then fit into an existing minibus schedule and this will not be scheduled around your own flight times - we also cannot guarantee that we will have any spaces left at all or how long the waiting times will need to be.  If you book a last minute transfer, then this also applies to the return journey where you will have to leave resort at the time of the existing vehicle and not at a time most suitable for your own flight.

Despite our normal service level above, In the event of flight delays which are beyond our control, we may have to ask you to wait for other delayed guests OR indeed we may have to ask OTHER guests to wait for you!  We do not do this intentionally but sometimes it is unavoidable and we ask for your understanding and co-operation - we will point you towards the nearest airport bar/cafe and keep you posted of progress with the delayed flights.  In the event of extreme delays, it may not always be possible to wait for you - this could be because of other guests or because of drivers hours (due to safety) or other commitments.  In this event, we will do our best to make alternative arrangements for you but this may involve additional cost to you if we are unable to provide the service within our existing resources and schedule - avoiding the last arriving flights will give you much more chance of us being able to reschedule your transfer.  However, to keep this in perspective - in 15 years of operating transfers, we have only ever had two cases where we were unable to reschedule an inbound transfer without extra cost to the client.  Your travel insurance may cover such eventualities but you need to make sure your particular policy covers your individual arrangements as some do not.

You will be provided with a contact number for your arrival day - and we will request a mobile number for you.  It is ESSENTIAL you keep us informed of any delays while you are still in your country of origin as some flights are not well tracked on the systems available to us and some airports (namely Chambery and Grenoble) do not have online arrival information available.  The earlier we know about a problem, the more pro-active we can be to solve it - we have a person dedicated to controlling and monitoring our vehicles and all guest arrivals on Saturdays on our Transfer Control Desk and this desk is manned from the first arrival in the morning to the last arrival at night.
