La Tania
La Tania is the "new born of the Three Valleys"
|
|
 A
small village nestling between Courchevel and Meribel with access to the
whole of the Three Valleys - the largest ski area in the world
A 12 person high
speed tele-cabine leaves the village centre of La Tania, followed by a quad chair lift which takes you
to the "Col de la Loze" - just above Courchevel 1850 and
Meribel. The runs
back down into La Tania meander through the heart of the forest with both red and blue
north facing runs giving excellent snow conditions - the snow
cannons on "Les Folyeres" run making La Tania
as "snow sure" as anywhere.
For beginners,
La Tania has nursery slopes in the village where
the ski school is also located. |

| The bars and restaurants in the
village all face south, making ideal lunchtime venues - there are also numerous altitude
restaurants in the Three Valleys area for those who would rather stay away from
home. From an après-ski point of view, the
populer English run "Ski Lodge Pub" is the
favourite haunt with some lively evenings with
live music and special event parties for events like New Year and St
Patrick's Day.
For non-skiing activity, the
local hotel has a fitness centre with splash pool, gym and sauna which are open to the
public and there is also a small cinema. Other activities available locally include
snowshoe walks organised by the
local
tourist office, ice skating, karting on ice, snow scooters and many more .....

We have been in La Tania since
1998 and have three catered chalets to offer plus self catered
apartments.

Getting There
By Car : La
Tania has easy access by road and is approximately 610
miles (975 kms) from Calais - all but the last 20 kms is by motorway
or expresss dual carriageway. We provide comprehensive
directions to our self drive guests and can offer ferry
and tunnel crossings at attractive supplements.

By
Air : The nearest airports are Geneva or
Chambery, both of which are served by a number of UK
budget airlines including EasyJet, FlyBe and Jet2. You can also fly to
Lyon (St Exupery) or Grenoble. Transfer times are:
Geneva - approx 3 hours
Chambery - approx 1.5 hours
Lyon - approx 3 hours
Grenoble - approx 3.5 hours
We provide a transfer service with our fleet
of minibuses from Geneva or Chambery airports regularly throughout the day
and can also offer a service from Lyon or Grenoble by special request.

By Rail :
The international railway station
of Moutiers is approximately 45 minutes from the resort - the station is served by the
Snowtrain service and the Direct Eurostar Services from the UK. We can provide rail tickets on any of
these services and transfers from the station to the resort.
