Our
Chalets de Bettaix chalets were new for 2007-2008 are our latest
addition in the Three Valleys - located in the pretty village of Le Bettaix,
on the banks of the River Doron, just below Les Menuires. The chalets are situated at 1600m altitude and are just 150m from the
lift which takes you a short ride up into Les Menuires centre.
Nestling below La Masse, the village is not only on one of the
best off-piste routes in the Three Valleys but is also easily accessible by
snow-cannoned gentle pistes from Les Menuires
and Val Thorens.
The
village has it's own small creche facility as well as a r estaurant,
bar and ski shop. Despite chalet and apartment developments in recent
years, the village still maintains it's traditional Savoyarde style.
The centre of Les Menuires is easily accessible on skis with it's leisure centre,
shops and restaurants for those who want more wide ranging facilities.
For beginners who are unable to reach the main resort on skis for ski
school, we operate a minibus service. The minibus service also
operates during the evenings at set times (subject to availability) for
those who want to go out in town.
The
development consists of 6 adjacent, independent chalets, four of which sleep
8-10 guests and the other two sleep 12-14 guests giving a total capacity to
welcome groups of up to 68 people. The chalets are, of course,
bookable individually for groups or by the room for couples, families and
smaller groups.

There
are a mix of double and twin rooms plus each chalet has one family suite
with a bunk room or cabine twin room ideal for children. The cabines
can be occupied by adults at a reduced price.
All rooms are en-suite and are equipped with
either a jacuzzi bath or
hydro-massage shower.
The
living room has a fireplace (central feature in
the larger chalets) and space to sit and relax, plus the dining
area and a
mini-bar. All chalets have flat-screen TV's with satellite and DVD
players plus a free WIFI connection.
In all chalets, a
hot-tub and sauna facility is provided
for the use of our guests and each
chalet also has it's own ski and boot room with
electric boot warmers.
The
smaller chalets
are "upside down" having some of the bedrooms on the ground floor and the
living room on the upper floor - this gives an airy, light feeling in the
living rooms and the spacious feeling up into the eaves of the chalet.
