At Ski Amis, we have been providing catered chalet holidays since 1989 and have built our reputation on the basis of high quality and excellent service always with the comfort of our guests in mind. All chalets have en-suite facilities and most now have sauna and/or jacuzzis for that added luxury. We offer a "premium" service in some of our chalets which are primarily aimed at adult groups or exclusive occupancy - in these chalets you will receive an upgraded catering service included. You can also book the premium service as an upgrade in any chalet where you take exclusive occupancy, at a supplement. Premium service offers an additional cheeseboard course with the evening meal and pre-dinner and after dinner drinks included.

If you are new to chalet holidays, you will discover a unique way of making friends whether you are single, a couple, a family or a larger group - we cater for parties of all standards, shapes and sizes! Chalet holidays are less formal than hotels - meal times are like dinner parties at home where you can relax and just be yourself - the chalet staff live in or close to the chalet and all have your enjoyment as their main priority - they cook, clean and generally take care of all your needs - all you have to do is sit back and enjoy yourself.

Quality accommodation ……

Our catered chalets are all located on or close to the pistes and lift systems in pretty, quality resorts with excellent snow records. The chalets are all well maintained to a high standard and en-suite rooms, balconies, TV's for video or DVD facilities, and comfortable furnishing are standard in most of our catered chalets with some chalets also having x-box games machines, WIFI internet connections, electric boot warmers, log fires, hot tub, spa bath and/or sauna facilities for our guests.

Excellent catering ……

Our menus are the same in all of our catered chalets – we believe that the standard of the food is too important for the chalet staff to decide so we don’t give our staff a budget and leave it up to them to cut corners! The menu is set at the beginning of the season and all staff are trained how to prepare every meal. In our premium chalets, the additional service includes aperitifs before dinner and liquers after, an additional cheeseboard course and better quality wines. The main menu is identical so even in our budget chalets, you won't go short of good quality food. We want to see left-overs on our tables – or you haven’t had enough to eat. We can cater for all types of special dietary requirements – including vegetarian, gluten free, nut-free and child menus with many products imported from England to suit the tastes of the British kids. We serve bottled wine which is of a good standard – and in unlimited supply throughout the meal.

Apart from the traditional porridge, cereals and continental breakfast including fresh baked warm croissants, we also include a full cooked English breakfast with bacon, sausages and baked beans (especially imported from the UK) to keep the real traditional taste …. a great way to start the day. And when you return from skiing, our afternoon tea will satisfy those hunger pangs with French bread and home-made cake in plentiful supply – not limited to one piece per person so no need to make sure you’re first back from the slopes!

Hassle free resort service ……

Our service in the resort is aimed at allowing you to enjoy your holiday with the minimum of hassle - we book and collect your ski passes in advance and make all your reservations for ski school and child care. No need for you to traipse around the resort on arrival to sort out these necessary evils - everything is handed to you in the chalet on arrival. The prices we offer for lift passes and lessons are identical to those you will find for the same product in resort, so you have nothing to lose. We also pre-book your equipment rental at discounted prices with our contracted suppliers - in some chalets the service is mobile and will visit you in the chalet to fit your equipment (at a surcharge), in other chalets our staff will accompany you to the shop to deal with your needs.

Flexible travel options ……

We understand that not everyone wants to travel at the same time, in the same way. We don't include travel in our base prices so you can choose what is best for you and pay for just what you need. We are able to provide airport transfers from Chambery and Geneva with our own fleet of fully licensed minibuses dedicated to our clients so you don't have to worry about flight delays or finding the chalet or carrying your luggage, we're there only for our own guests so we take care of all of these problems. We can also offer channel crossings for self drive at competitive supplements or rail tickets for the snowtrain, Eurostar or standard indirect services.
