We had a really good week and even found some snow. Given the weather the chalet balcony and hot tub was a real hit with those that weren't that interested in skiing. We returned from our five days in Chalet Titania yesterday. Wow what a time we had! Lovely chalet, room, hot-tub and position to slopes; but the “Piece de Resistance” were our fantastic chalet hosts! We had an amazing time! The chalet was lovely - very homely and comfy (and the hot tub went down a treat after a long day's skiing!) I have completed the 'on-line' survey as requested but thought you would appreciate a more informal response. We could not fault the arrangements throughout and congratulate you on a truly great addition to your range of chalets. I speak for us all by saying that everyone was extremely impressed with the chalet and its facilities(especially the 'hot-tub'); a special comment should be made about the chalet hosts; they were truly exceptional and could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Wherever possible they are a couple to be retained as they are natural hosts; they had exactly the right blend of staffing - evident but not intrusive; helpful but not 'pushy'. They gave every indication that their guests were special to them; a difficult trait when we know that there is a new group of guests who are currently receiving the same treatment. We returned at the weekend from an excellent week at Chalet Katerina in Le Bettaix. As you are aware, this was the first time we have travelled with Ski Amis. We would like to compliment you and your staff on the fantastic all round experience, from booking (very late) to the care in the chalet. Their attention to detail and care for us, their guests, was simply amazing, as was the quality of the food from breakfast to dinner. Just a short note to say thank you for our fantastic holiday at Chalet Sermoz over the Christmas week. The chalet was lovely, much larger than we expected, and the rooms were very well furnished and presented. The chalet hosts did a fabulous job, serving up delicious meals, including Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they pulled out all the stops to make sure we all had a lovely time. We've booked through Ski Amis before and have been most impressed with the standard of accommodation and service provided, but I'd have to say that this year's premium chalet was the best yet! The apertifs (especially the kir royale) and pre-dinner nibbles (smoked salmon and blinis) were a great touch and it was nice to feel thoroughly spoiled!
We'll definitely be booking with you again and recomending your company to our friends and family.

We have been going to La Tania for about the last 6 years or so and I have to say that this has been one of the best weeks yet. The Chalet was just perfect for us, especially with the two living rooms (one kids, one adults). It was all immaculately clean and very comfortable. The resort manager was very efficient and helpful with everything he did for us. The chalet supervisor was the perfect chalet host, nothing too much trouble and very keen to help out. We have just returned from La Plagne after a week stay at the Chalet Anniek ( 07/03/2009). We have been on many ski holidays and stayed in catered chalets. All 14 members of our party agree, this stay is by far the best we have ever had. The resort was great, the snow conditions were great, but the most outstanding part of our holiday was down to the chalet staff who were absolutely brilliant hosts and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing, and I mean nothing was too much trouble for them. The food they prepared was delicious, everything was spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere they created was so friendly and laid back, we could not have asked for anything better.

Myself and 3 others stayed in Chalet Christine, La Tania w/c 28/2/09 -7/03/09 and it was really wonderful. From the moment we enquired about the accommodation on line, we received a superb service. We were picked up from Chambery and the resort manager met us at the chalet on our arrival and personally brought us to get our gear and show us around. As for the chalet staff, I cannot praise them highly enough. The chalet supervisor is extremely competent and Ski Amis are very fortunate to have him on board and the other chalet staff treated us really well.... my miles of skiing was balanced out with all the amazing food. They all did their utmost to ensure our stay was very comfortable. They really are a great team! I would just like to say that I will be highly recommending Ski Amis to all my friends. I can truly say that after many ski holidays, myself and my friends enjoyed Chalet Christine by far and will definitely be making a return visit.

We have just returned from Chalet Anniek and had a wonderful week. Thank you for sorting out the transfers and childrens' car seats which were excellent. The chalet couple were fantastic hosts. We have nothing but praise for them, they always went the extra mile and could not have been more accommodating. I'm sure you are aware that half the chalet (including one of the chalet hosts) came down with a nasty bug but both of them in extraordinarily difficult circumstances continued to make our holiday fantastic. We were extremely impressed at Ski Amis' ability to draft in extra staff at such short notice. It is fair to say that between us we have been on over 100 catered chalet holidays and none of us have met better hosts.

Just a short note on behalf of the Burrell group in Gabrielle and Flora (14-21 Feb) to say that without exception, the staff that served us, were exceptional in their dedication and attitude. We were able to show our appreciation to most, but did not do so for your resort manager who somewhat increased her visibility to us on the last day, when our transfer company let us down. Despite not booking this originally with Ski Amis, the resort manager made several enquiries on our behalf, then latterly the 3 Ski Amis drivers, and no doubt admin staff, came together magnificently to get all 17 of us to the airport (6 minutes before the gates closed!). So again, a big thankyou to everyone, and of course the reflection upon Ski Amis and its management.

We have recently returned from spending a week at the Chalet Christine in La Tania and wanted to write to let you know what a fantastic time we had there. The staff in the chalet, were excellent. They all worked extremely hard for our large group (lead name Wright - Jan 31st to Feb 7th) and did not complain about the late nights that we kept - sorry about that. We have been on numerous ski chalet holidays over the years and this accommodation has to be rated by us as one of the best. The chalet was lovely, warm and welcoming when we arrived and it stayed that way. The breakfasts were out of this world and there was always plenty of afternoon tea and cakes and a wonderful 3 course dinner to look forward to. The chef really did wonders in the kitchen! We thought the chalet was in a great position for the ski-ing and the centre of La Tania as it was so close to the public lift

Apologies for not having emailed you sooner! We just wanted to say thanks for your help during our recent trip to Les Menuires. We really enjoyed our time away and the chalet location was everything we wanted it to be - short walk to the slopes and the lifts and the shops - ideal. Maybe if the snow stays good and the prices are right we will come back later in the season! The food was really very good and their presentation was really excellent - I don't think I could have produced as well presented starters in particular, every night - and it was great for us that the kids didn't have to eat the kids menu at a different sitting to us. Speaking of the food - is it possible to have a copy of the balsamic vinegar potatoes and the kids would like the goulash recipe and I would like the salmon starter recipe if possible!

This is just a note to say thank you for such a great holiday. From the moment we arrived the Ski-Amis staff were friendly, professional and very helpful which I'm sure was quite hard considering most of us had a bit too much to drink before arrival - we do think it was down to the altitude though! The chalet was perfect - the chalet couple were superb hosts. They were always helpful and great cooks - it will be hard to adjust to cooking again! We really enjoyed their company and I think they had a laugh too.
The ski hosting on our first day was slightly hindered by the weather but we all felt safe and got up and down the mountain in one piece. Unfortunately due to bad weather we missed the 3V tour on Friday as it rained but it will give us something to look forward to next time if we are allowed back! Instead of skiing we visited Edwin in the bar and had a great laugh - cocktails and shots were something to be tried! All in all I think that it was our best ski holiday to date. Thanks again

My husband and I have just returned from a week in Chalet Estelle. We had a wonderful time, our chalet hosts were excellent. The food was the best we have ever had on a skiing holiday. We are now hot-tub fans having been surprised how good it was to be able to use one after skiing all day. We used your ski host,who was first class and enabled us to cover much more ground than we would have done on our own, especially on day 1 and 2. It was unfortunate that our plane was delayed on the way out and we then had to wait over an hour for another large party to be ready before we could leave Chambery, but that was the end of our troubles as once we arrived in Les Bruyeres everything was brilliant. We are seriously considering making a repeat booking for next January and possibly bringing some friends with us.

Just like to say in my 20+ years of skiing I have never been as delighted as with this years holiday. The chalet couple were the most fantastic chalet hosts in every way. Their attention to detail, pride in all aspects of their jobs, charm, humour, patience and cooking skills ... Need I say anymore ... it was definitely the best.. Thanks.

Just a short mail to let you know what a fab time we had - the chalet couple were superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Chalet and everything about it was lovely. The resort manager was very helpful when we arrived a bit late and our ski host for 2 days those days really special. No worrying about which lift to catch or how long it would take to get to Val Thorens, he looked after it all. We will definitely consider booking again in the not too distant future. 'Just wanted to say thanks for a another great holiday. Chalet Nicolette in Le Bettaix had superb hosts, and the company of the other guests was good and entertaining. The space in the chalet is good. The lessons we had with Snow Bow, were excellent, nice small group. We have enjoyed the Ski Amis format, the food is good (still not too sure about the turkey bake!), and unlike some operators don't ration the wine, and allow any opened bottles to be finished on the night. The choice at breakfast is good as well its nice to have the choice of a hearty breakfast or continental. Hopefully we will be back next season'

Well done to them both! The food, as always, with Ski Amis, was excellent. We would also like to add what an excellent knowledgeable ski host we had - many thanks to him for making our first days skiing an unforgettable one! We understand there were a few teething problems with this being a new chalet - just a couple of suggestions that we think would really help - bedside reading lamps, some hooks in rooms to hang coats etc up and a couple of extra lights in the lounge to read by. However, all in all a fabulous week - with fabulous weather and snow to match'

'Back home and trying very hard to get back into the routine. The three of us had the most wonderful holiday despite a knee ligament injury sustained on the second day by one of our party. The whole Ski-Amis experience has left a lasting impression on the 3 of us. We've been on a few chalet holidays in the past but Ski-Amis were a class (or ten) above. Even though we had to organise some aspects ourselves your flexibilty in meeting our needs made it feel like an all inclusive package. If all your chalets are being looked after as well as ours was, than I would have no hesitation on recommending your company (that's after we have booked ours first so that we get to choose Tangara again!). Your services of ski hosting, equipment, passes (& lessons if I had not messed it up!) were very much welcome as they saved us a lot of time. 'I am writing on behalf of everyone in our group having just returned from La Tania. We all wanted to let you know that our holiday at Chalet Christine was an enormous success due mainly to the fact that the Chalet worked so perfectly for us and that the staff there were quite simply the best we have encountered anywhere! They really are a superb team and we could not fault them on anything. They were permanently cheerful, helpful, tolerant, considerate, fun, and just about any positive adjective you would like to add! The chalet layout worked very well for us especially being able to separate the two sitting rooms (especially as we seemed to have hundreds of children and inherited several more!) which was a godsend. Everyone was very happy with the bedrooms once the eaves had been negotiated! There was always hot water, beds etc were comfortable, everything was kept beautifully clean. The food was great and was enjoyed by everyone especially the cakes which disappeared at unbelievable speed. We were lucky with the weather, and the snow was mainly excellent, so skiing was fantastic. So, many many thanks for all your help in setting things up for us, and your patience in dealing with my frequent queries and questions!'
